DWS offers on-site process piping/orbital welding training seminars. The seminars are designed to educate facilities management and decision-makers in how to get the most out of resources and staffing. DWS also teaches contractors and end-users, and conducts classes at universities and at union training centers.

• Cutting, prepping, fitting
• Orbital welding
• Weld procedure development
• Weld inspection criteria and industry standards

The DWS self-contained mobile welding lab used for seminars has a full complement of microprocessor-controlled AMI orbital tube and pipe welding equipment. In addition, it contains Orbitalum (Georg Fischer) precision cutting and machining equipment for tube and pipe preparation prior to welding.

The mobile lab also includes a complete field office with computer workstation for off-line procedure management, a cellular modem to download current information, and a video presentation system for application videos.
